September 29, 2017 – Amsterdam 2017 Asbestos Abatement and Demolition Project
BID DUE DATE: OCTOBER 13, 2017 2:00 P.M.
The Land Reutilization Corporation of the Capital Region (the Land Bank) will be accepting sealed bid proposals for the Amsterdam 2017 Asbestos Abatement and Demolition Project. The scope of work includes providing all labor, materials, machinery, tools, equipment and other means of construction necessary and incidental to the completion of the work shown on the asbestos surveys and/or demolition plans and described in the specifications, which consists of the demolition and/or asbestos abatement of multiple structures located in the City of Amsterdam, New York (the “Work”).
Complete sets of the drawings, specifications, bid forms and instructions to bidders may be examined and obtained on or about September 29, 2017 by contacting the Land Bank office (Metroplex) at 433 State Street, Center City Plaza, 4th Floor (rear), Schenectady, New York between the hours of 9:00 a.m. and 4:00 p.m. or via email at email@example.com or (518) 377-1109 x 7.
Contract documents will be provided electronically in PDF format and may be obtained at no cost. Contractors that obtain Contract Documents from a source other than the Land Bank must notify the Land Bank in order to be placed on the official plan holders list to receive Addenda and other Bid correspondence. Bids will only be accepted from firms listed on the official plan holders list.
All bids must be made on the official Bid Form or an exact copy by reproduction thereof and enclosed in a sealed envelope. Each bid must be accompanied by a bidder’s bond of a responsible surety company authorized to do business in the State of New York or a certified check payable to the Capital Region Land Bank in the amount of five percent of the base bid. No bid will be considered which is not accompanied by such bond or certified check.
Non-Mandatory Bid Walk Through will be held on Monday, October 2, 2017 at 9:00 AM. Bid walk through will begin at 42 Forbes Street, Amsterdam.

Questions sent or delivered to any other individual will not be considered for response. BID proposals are due on October 13, 2017 at 2:00 P.M.
