The Capital Region Land Bank is soliciting Request for Qualifications (“RFQ”) from qualified interested parties to purchase 2 Cornelius Avenue, Town of Niskayuna (the “Property”) for the purpose of either rehabilitation or demolition with the intent of redeveloping the lot in a manner that reflects zoning and planning requirements in the Town of Niskayuna.

The Property is approximately .18 acres on a desirable quiet street within the Town of Niskayuna, Niskayuna School District, proximate to the Upper Union Street Business District.  The main structure is a 2,000 sq ft +/-Dutch Colonial, built approximately 1930.  A garage is also located on site.

The Property has sat vacant for approximately ten years prior to the Land Bank being offered the donation.  The general condition of the property is poor and any RFQ response should consider the level of deterioration that would need to be addressed.  The Land Bank has completed due diligence on the property in the form of an Asbestos Survey and an Engineering Structural Report that will be made available upon request.
